Hi, I’m Evi.
Through Emotional Intelligence assessments and coaching, I can help you or your organization overcome the costly obstacles that erode workplace performance.
Why I do this
As a young leader in the fundraising world, I was permanently overwhelmed; there was always a fire to put out, a crisis to deal with, to-do lists that were pages long and more conversations to be had than time permitted.
In addition, I had a major case of imposter syndrome about being in a leadership role in the first place and immense (self-imposed) pressure to not let anyone down.
Needless to say, I burnt out.
More than once.
In more than one role and more than one organization.
It’s taken a lot of work to be able to look back at my younger self with genuine compassion and clearly see my struggles for what they were
And as the old adage goes, I’m now able to speak from my scars, not my wounds.
While not everyone’s story will mirror mine, I can say with certainty that everyone can benefit from learning about their current level of Emotional Intelligence.
My own Eq-i 2.0 assessment report clearly laid out areas that I naturally excelled in and areas that could (and did) derail me as a leader. Had I been given such a comprehensive overview of where my level of emotional intelligence was at that time I would have known where to start, what strengths I could leverage and where I needed additional support, training, or coaching.
My immediate thought was:
‘wow, do I wish I’d had this assessment done when I first started out on my leadership journey. It would have been a game changer.’
This is why I am so passionate about providing this service; with EQ assessments and coaching, overwhelm, stress and other workplace struggles don’t have to be the status quo.

Why choose me:
I’ve got the experience.
While each person’s experience is unique to them, it helps to have a coach who understands the context. With more than 20 years in leadership roles and more than 10 of those in the not-for-profit industry, I’ve got a lot of experience to draw from.
I’ve got the education.
I have a Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge, am certified to use the EQ-i 2.0 which is a level B psychometric tool, and recently completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with first-class honours. I have a deep love of learning and this helps me continually improve my coaching skills and knowledge.
I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
I love what I do.
I am a naturally curious and compassionate listener and a clear communicator; important skills when discussing a person’s Emotional Intelligence. Undergoing an EQ assessment can be uncomfortable at times, but I blend a pragmatic and efficient approach with a whole lot of empathy, some laughs along the way and a genuine belief in people’s ability to learn and grow.
